“Katie did a fantastic job of helping staff and pupils choreograph a dance to share with parents at the opening ceremony to our sports day. Such a success in fact, that children asked if Katie could return to run an after school club.

Her street dance sessions are energetic and fun. What ever the fitness level, Katie will ensure children feel supported, included and challenged.”

Pupils at Otterton Primary School have been getting into the groove with a series of street dancing classes.

Year three and four pupils have been attending an after-school club with dance specialist Katie Murray.

To show off what they’d learned from five weeks of sessions, the youngsters performed Michael Jackson’s classic Thriller for their classmates, wearing some suitably scary costumes to go along with their cool moves.

I am constantly developing new material for my workshops, shows and displays that I believe my students will enjoy and I will continue to get youngsters active and share my love for the performing arts.
